Cool Summer Appetizers & Wine-based Cocktails

Summer is on its way! So, why not be prepared with an array of warm weather friendly appetizers and cocktails? In this hands-on class we will prepare elote flatbread, whipped hummus with roasted carrots & green za’atar, spicy Thai pineapple and shrimp lettuce cups, summer melon crudo with chiles & herbs, kofta sliders with harissa & carrot herb slaw
We will also make refreshing wine-based (lower ABV) cocktails including the Tinto de Verano, Chinato Spritz & a Rebujito (Sherry cocktail).


JUNE
Saturday, 6/6, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Cool Beans
In this class we will explore a variety of ways to enjoy the mighty healthy, protein dense bean. 
We will make Flageolet beans with zucchini, chèvre & miso lemon vinaigrette, Bahn Mi black bean sliders, Garbanzo bean salad sandwich (faux tuna salad), Mayacoba bean stuffed poblano peppers, and The OG Roaring Fork-inspired white bean cake with hibiscus frosting & strawberries
