Since completing the Scottsdale Community College's culinary program in 1999, Tracy Dempsey has brought her unique take on composed desserts to Valley restaurants ranging from Lon's at the Hermosa Inn, Restaurant Hapa and Gregory's World Bistro to Cowboy Ciao. Although the cuisine and style of the venues in which she's practiced her art have varied widely, by focusing on flavors and utilizing seasonal ingredients, successful dessert programs that combine both sweet and savory elements have been a consistent outcome.
Since leaving Cowboy Ciao in early June 2009, Tracy has been incorporating her dessert expertise into the "Tracy Dempsey Originals" line of packaged boutique confections that she sells at Sphinx Date Palm & Pantry, Changing Hands Bookstore, Botanica at The Farm at South Mountain, Dos Cabezas Winery and Callaghan Vineyards (Sonoita) to name a few. In addition, her restaurant clients include The Gladly, Citizen Public House, Nook Arcadia & Nook Downtown, Crudo, Press Coffee-Scottsdale Quarter.
