Since completing the Scottsdale Community College's culinary program in 1999, Tracy Dempsey has brought her unique take on composed desserts to Valley restaurants ranging from Lon's at the Hermosa Inn, Restaurant Hapa and Gregory's World Bistro to Cowboy Ciao. Although the cuisine and style of the venues in which she's practiced her art have varied widely, by focusing on flavors and utilizing seasonal ingredients, successful dessert programs that combine both sweet and savory elements have been a consistent outcome.
Since leaving Cowboy Ciao in early June 2009, Tracy has been incorporating her dessert expertise into the "Tracy Dempsey Originals" line of packaged boutique confections that she sells at Sphinx Date Palm & Pantry, Changing Hands Bookstore, Arcadia Premium, Botanica at The Farm at South Mountain, Dos Cabezas Winery and Callaghan Vineyards (Sonoita) to name a few. In addition, you may find our desserts on the menu at dining establishments including Garage-East, Nook Arcadia, Nook Downtown, Nonna, AZ88 and Uncle Sal's.
We also boast a pretty sweet little retail space shared with ODV Wines. Stop in for a selection of desserts, confections, local products including Iconic Cocktail Mixers, Cutino's Hot Sauce, AZ Bitters Lab Bitters, Zak's Chocolates, the beloved Original Bacon Pecan Brittle. We are currently the sole local AZ source for the K+M Extra Virgin Olive Oil Chocolate bars from Chef Thomas Keller and olive oil producer Armando Manni. Stop by and ask Tracy for a chocolate tasting. She and our friendly shopkeepers will happily help you find a bottle or two of wine as well.
We are proud members of Local First Arizona and endeavor to support our local business community as much and as often as possible and encourage our supporters to do the same.
